What does "generous monthly usage included" mean?
Each plan includes a substantial monthly allowance for AI features like Alaya Chat and the Word Add-in. We'll let you know well before you reach it, and you can always add more.
What happens if I reach my monthly AI usage limit?
You'll see a heads-up once you've used most of your allowance. At the limit, you can top up from $5 or wait for your monthly reset. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
Do purchased top-ups expire?
No. Unused purchased credits carry over to future months — they don't expire at the end of your billing cycle.
How do plan upgrades work?
Upgrades take effect immediately. You receive a credit for the unused portion of your current plan — measured by both time remaining and allowances consumed — and you see the exact amount before you confirm.
How do downgrades work?
Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. You keep everything you've paid for until then, and you can cancel the change anytime before it happens. Plans with a commitment period can switch once the commitment ends.
How does cancellation work?
You can cancel anytime from your billing portal. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
