Founded in 1992, Long An Law Firm is described in the source as the oldest partnership law firm in China and has developed a prominent banking and finance practice. Since 2017 the firm strengthened its financial team after the arrival of Xiuping Pan and Weiguo Wang (both holding leadership roles in the China Society of Banking Law), and the firm and its lawyers have received Chambers and Legal 500 rankings (2022–2024) and won a Commercial Law Excellence Award in 2021.
