Ian Childs

Ian Childs is a partner in the Litigation department at Stephenson Harwood in Hong Kong. A former senior officer in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force and Republic of Singapore Police Force, and a former security/investigations/AML professional at JP Morgan, he specializes in complex civil litigation, regulatory and criminal litigation, particularly in the financial sector. He advises on contentious regulatory issues and defends clients subject to investigation, disciplinary action or prosecution by regulators. He has over 15 years of experience as a commercial litigator, including contentious employment disputes.
