José Luis Pita da Veiga is a partner at Jones Day in the Financial Markets department, based in Spain. He advises lenders and borrowers on multijurisdictional financing, refinancing, and restructuring transactions, with nearly 20 years of experience in acquisition, corporate (including pre-insolvency and insolvency scenarios), real estate, and project finance, particularly in infrastructure, renewable energy, and tourism. He has been recognized by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, The Legal 500 EMEA, and Best Lawyers, and serves on the board of the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles.
