Joachim Knoll is a partner at LALIVE in Switzerland who has practised international arbitration (commercial and investment treaty arbitration) since 1999 and has acted as counsel and arbitrator in over 70 ad hoc and administered proceedings. He advises on arbitration agreements, challenges and enforcement of awards and provides counsel to states on investment-treaty negotiation and to investors on structuring investments for protection.
