Partner in the Casualty police team at Weightmans LLP’s Manchester office. He represents police forces and large corporate clients in civil litigation (including allegations of assault, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution and claims under the Human Rights Act), and is significantly involved in the Undercover Policing Inquiry, including drafting Rule 9 statements and applications for anonymity.
