R. Ian Mitchell is a partner in Gowling WLG's Toronto capital markets practice and head of the firm's Mining Industry Sector Group, advising clients across the mining, technology, digital asset and energy sectors. He has in-depth securities law experience — including public offerings, private placements, reverse takeovers/qualifying transactions, M&A and stock exchange listings — and is a member of the firm's external management committee; he was named a Lexpert Rising Star (2015) and a Corporate Lawyer to Watch (2016).
