Jay Zakaïb is an intellectual property litigation Partner and Patent Agent in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office who acts primarily for IP rights-holders to maintain exclusivity or obtain damages. His practice focuses on patent litigation in the life sciences, material sciences, petrochemical, manufacturing and agri-food sectors; he has appeared before the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal for over fifteen years and also handles trademark litigation, trade secrets and competition matters.
