Partner and UK and European patent attorney at EIP (EIP Chemistry) specialising in chemical patents, with particular focus on pharmaceuticals and biochemistry. Experienced in drafting and prosecuting applications at the EPO, JPO and USPTO, running oppositions and EPO oral hearings, and advising on freedom-to-operate and due diligence; recently spent 18 months on secondment to an in-house department of a large multinational pharmaceutical company.
