Partner and European and UK Patent Attorney at J A Kemp based in London, specialising in drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications and advising on due diligence and freedom-to-operate matters, with a special focus on medical devices and medical machines. He is highly experienced in contentious proceedings before the European Patent Office—having attended over 100 EPO hearings—and manages international filing programmes (notably in the USA, Japan, Korea and China); he joined J A Kemp in 1997 and became a partner in 2007.
