Richard Burton is a Chartered and European trade mark attorney and European design attorney who joined D Young & Co in 2006 and is a partner in the firm's trade marks and designs department. He advises on trade mark and design portfolio handling, clearance, prosecution and contentious matters (including inter partes proceedings before the UKIPO) and regularly writes and speaks on trade marks, brand protection and designs.
