Hugh is a Partner in the Patents team at Maucher Jenkins and a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney with over 30 years’ experience focused on IT, mobile communications and software. He is also a Certified IP Litigator, EUIPO Representative, Irish Trade Mark Agent and a Registered Representative before the Unified Patent Court, is registered on the EPO register for over 5,000 European patent applications, and has recognised expertise in patent prosecution and licensing (including ETSI standards); he has been recognised by Chambers and Partners UK (Band 1) for his telecommunications work.
