Partner at Zimmermann & Partner and a qualified German and European Patent Attorney, specialising in optics, semiconductor technology, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) and telecommunications, with a primary practice in patent litigation and invalidation proceedings. Previously a scientist at the Max-Planck-Institute of Quantum Optics and later worked in the patent department of Siemens AG; holds a PhD in physics and studied at TU Darmstadt and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
