Partner at Knauer Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB based in Germany, Sören Schomburg advises national and international clients on commercial and tax criminal law, international criminal law and extradition, and has extensive experience in complex transnational internal investigations, search and seizure (including data confiscation), INTERPOL matters and defence before the European Court of Justice. He studied at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and King's College London, completed a postgraduate legal clerkship including at the German Federal Foreign Office and in Tokyo, joined Ufer Knauer in 2011, was appointed partner in 2020 and co-founded Knauer Partner in 2023.
