Partner at Sultan Al-Abdulla & Partners based in Qatar, Umar Shahid has over eighteen years' post-qualification experience (qualified in 2007), including two years in London and sixteen years at a Tier-1 firm in Pakistan, advising on corporate and commercial matters, mergers & acquisitions, high-value infrastructure projects (including mining and energy) and Islamic and conventional project finance. He holds an LLM and completed the Bar Vocational Course at City Law School, has been called to the Bar of England & Wales, is a member of the Honorable Society of Lincoln's Inn and is a licensed Advocate of the High Courts by the Islamabad Bar Council in Pakistan.
