Partner at Mori Hamada in Japan advising on fintech, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory matters, private equity, venture financing and insurance. He previously served as Deputy Director in the Financial Services Agency of Japan, is admitted in Japan (2001) and New York (2007), and holds an LL.B. from The University of Tokyo and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School.
