Samla Viqar is a Senior Partner at Kilam Law based in Islamabad with an MBA in human resource management and over fifteen years' professional experience in Pakistan, Europe and the GCC, having previously worked at HSBC and Telenor Shared Services. She focuses on human resource, labour and employment matters — advising on compensation plans, employment and labour contracts, termination and retrenchment, HR manuals and policies, and performance appraisals — and conducts corporate and executive seminars on workplace issues including harassment and disciplinary action; she also works closely with Kilam Law’s associated practice in Oman.
