Senior Associate and Head of Practices at Tiruchelvam Associates, Michael Paiva leads the Intellectual Property and Mobility practices, advising multinational corporations, luxury brands, high‑net‑worth individuals and emerging businesses on IP protection, enforcement, commercialisation and immigration/mobility matters. He has extensive experience in trade mark prosecution and enforcement, anti‑counterfeiting, copyright, advertising law, domain name disputes and cross‑border IP portfolio management, and in 2020 was appointed by the Ministry of Justice (with Cabinet approval) to the Panel of Experts on Intellectual Property Law Reforms.
