Sonia Stewart is an intellectual property barrister specialising in trade marks, branding and advertising, with more than two decades' experience and regular practice in injunctions and contested litigation at trial and appellate levels. She was admitted in 2001, called to the Bar in 2016, previously served as a Senior Associate in the Intellectual Property & Dispute Resolution Group at Mallesons (now KWM) and holds senior in‑house experience for major brand owners; she appears primarily in the Federal Court of Australia and before IP Australia.
