Partner at EMD Advocates in Malta, Annelise Abela joined the firm in 2013 and was admitted to the partnership in 2025; she advises on corporate and commercial matters, shipping and aviation, intellectual property and employment law. She was called to the Maltese Bar in 2014 and holds an LL.D from the University of Malta and an LL.M in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London.
