Marco Antonio de la Peña is a Partner at Cuatrecasas in Mexico with extensive public‑sector and energy‑sector experience. He has served as general counsel and legal director at Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), headed the Legal Affairs Unit of the Mexican National Hydrocarbons Commission, held roles at the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit, the Bank of Mexico and Banobras, helped draft the Act on Public‑Private Partnerships and energy constitutional and legal reform, and coordinates the Energy Commission of the Mexican Bar Association.
