Partner at Cuatrecasas in Portugal with over 20 years' experience advising banks, investment firms and FinTech on banking and financial services. He advises on M&A in the financial sector, regulatory and conduct rules, supervisory procedures, governance and organisational requirements, compliance matters (including MiFID II, AML, PSD II), outsourcing arrangements and the structuring and set-up of investment funds; he is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association and of the Supervisory Board of the Portuguese Compliance and Regulatory Observatory and is an author and speaker on banking and capital markets law.
