Partner at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek based in the Netherlands, Irina Buga specialises in international investment and commercial arbitration and has acted as counsel in proceedings under the ICC, NAI, ICSID and PCA rules as well as before Dutch courts. She has served as a Doctoral Fellow at NILOS and as an Associate Legal Officer at the International Court of Justice, is the author of a book on international law (Oxford University Press, 2018), and has been appointed to EU rosters of arbitrators under the TCA and other trade agreements.
