Karien van Boekel is Counsel (Restructuring & Insolvency) at Houthoff specialising in insolvency law and restructurings, including international restructurings such as the Agrokor d.d. matter and proceedings under the WHOA. She is regularly appointed as a bankruptcy trustee by the Amsterdam District Court, is the liquidator of Lehman Brothers' Dutch division, and advises directors, companies and creditors in a wide range of insolvency situations.
