Sidney Berendsen

Sidney Berendsen is an attorney at law specialising in corporate law disputes, including M&A disputes, shareholder disputes, proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber of the Court of Appeals, and directors’ and supervisors’ liability. He advised Rabo Vastgoedgroep (a Rabobank subsidiary) in the Vastgoedfraude case—conducting internal investigations, levying attachments, negotiating tripartite settlements with perpetrators and the Public Prosecution Service, and initiating civil proceedings to recover damages (reported as hundreds of millions of euros).
