Of counsel at AKD in the Netherlands who specialises in hull and machinery work, collisions, assistance and salvage, marine insurance and shipbuilding, with a niche practice in yacht building and finance. Represents towing and salvage companies, shipowners, charterers, hull underwriters, P&I clubs, shipyards and water sports–related companies and is active on the IVR Legal Committee, the Standing Legal Committee of the Association for European Inland Navigation and Waterways, and the Legal and Appeal Committees of the Royal Dutch Yachting Association.
