Partner at AKD based in the Netherlands, specialising in international trade and the carriage of goods and persons with a focus on contractual matters (charter parties, bills of lading, sea waybills) and transnational litigation including arbitration and vessel/aircraft arrests. He also acts as an arbitrator, serves as a deputy justice at the 's‑Hertogenbosch Court of Appeal (Trade Division), and has held leadership roles in Dutch and international maritime law bodies.
