Partner at Wijn & Stael Advocaten N.V. who heads the Supreme Court Litigation section and advises and litigates in insolvency, corporate, contract and liability matters, including directors' and professional liability. He appears in cassation and preliminary reference proceedings before the Supreme Court, assists in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Court of Human Rights and the Benelux Court of Justice, and is a law professor (chair in Contract and Security) at the University of Groningen.
