Senior Partner at Impacta Law and Head of the German Desk, Dr. Julian Ries advises Western investors in Ukraine and other post‑Soviet countries on corporate and M&A, general commercial and tax law. He has extensive experience in restructuring, tax matters and mediation and has advised clients across agriculture, automotive, energy and natural resources sectors; earlier he spent over a decade as co‑managing/managing partner of Kyiv offices of major European law firms and began his career in Bremen.
