Previously a tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers del Ecuador (Nov 1995–Jul 2003) and earlier held legal assistant roles; she holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Law (University of Nottingham, 2000) and law degrees from the Catholic University of Ecuador.
