Founding partner and Name Partner at Lener & Partners, specialising in financial services, insurance, banking, regulation and securities matters; clients include banks, insurance companies, financial institutions and Italian regulatory authorities. Full Professor since 1994 at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ (teaching Commercial Law and Financial Market Law since 1998), member of the Rome Bar since 1987, and previously partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (1998–October 2018), serving as managing partner for Italy from 2006 to 2010.
