Derrick Kizito is an associate in the Litigation department at MMAKS Advocates in Uganda, specialising in courtroom advocacy and commercial disputes including debt recovery, employment, intellectual property and commercial litigation. He advises on alternative dispute resolution, data protection and privacy, insolvency, equity financing, immigration and not-for-profit matters, and has represented clients in local and international arbitration, mediation and reconciliation proceedings.
