Juan Pablo González is a partner at Esguerra JHR who leads the Banking & Finance, Capital Markets and Corporate & M&A practice areas and has more than 30 years' experience advising national and international institutions on financial, securities and corporate law. He served as Legal Vice President and Executive Vice President of the Bogotá Stock Exchange — leading the integration of the Colombian Stock Exchange and the start-up of the Colombian Electronic Market — was a member of the commission that drafted the Securities Market Law, and teaches Financial Law at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
