Of Counsel at Pérez Correa González based in Mexico, Lidia Velázquez has more than 14 years of experience in intellectual property, with nearly eight years at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and subsequent leadership of trademark, patent and copyright practice areas at a major Mexican IP firm. She advises national and international clients in sectors including pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverages and food/restaurants, and holds a law degree from UNAM and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Digital Innovation (University of Alicante, 2022).
