Partner at Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr in Chile, specialising in litigation, arbitration and tax law and with the firm since 1976. He is a long‑time Professor of Civil Law at P. Universidad Católica de Chile, was a sitting lawyer in the Chilean Constitutional Court (1981–1991), and received the Academic Lifetime Achievement Award (2012); he has been ranked by Chambers & Partners, Latin Lawyer 250 and Best Lawyers.
