Founding Partner at Sacha Calmon e Misabel Derzi Consultores e Advogados in Brazil, specializing in tax law and financial law. He holds a law degree from PUC-MG and a PhD from UFMG, is a former federal judge and ex-full professor of tax law, coordinates postgraduate tax courses at Faculdades Milton Campos, and is Honorary President of the Brazilian Association of Financial Law; he was listed among the five most quoted jurists in high court decisions by Exame (2007).
