Partner at Souto Correa Advogados in Brazil, Rafael Alves represents clients in domestic and international arbitration, mediation and negotiation of complex disputes across sectors including construction, M&A, commercial partnerships, real estate, banking, oil & gas and energy, and regularly sits as an arbitrator in Brazil. He is a former Deputy Counsel at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, teaches arbitration at FGV Law (Fundação Getulio Vargas) in São Paulo, and is the author of several books on arbitration.
