Satoshi Karashima is a Partner at Iwata Godo in Japan focusing on banking & finance, capital markets and M&A. He was admitted in Japan (1993) and New York (1998), is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association, and previously served at Asahi Law Offices (1993–2003; partner from 2001), Latham & Watkins (2003–2010) and as in-house counsel at a major Japanese securities firm (2010–2020) before joining Iwata Godo in 2020.
