Akira Matsuda is a Partner at Iwata Godo in Japan, focusing on data protection and privacy, information technology and litigation and dispute resolution. He was admitted in Japan (2008) and New York (2019), holds an LL.B. from The University of Tokyo (2006) and an LL.M. from Columbia Law School (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, 2015), and has worked at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu and Drew & Napier LLC (Singapore); he served as a consultant to the Japan DPO Association in 2019.
