Admitted in Japan (1993) and New York (2002); educated at Hitotsubashi University (LL.B., 1990) and Cornell University Law School (LL.M., 2001); has held roles at Coudert Brothers (New York, 2002–2004), served as Practicing-Attorney-Professor at the Legal Training and Research Institute, Supreme Court of Japan (2010–2013), was an examiner for the Japanese Bar Examination (civil code, 2014–2016), and was a professor at Hitotsubashi University Law School (2019–2023).
