Tom Double is a Partner in the Defamation and Privacy department at Brett Wilson; he qualified in 2014 and became Partner in 2021. He acts for both claimants and defendants in defamation, privacy, data protection and harassment actions, representing clients including celebrities, politicians, large companies and other lawyers, and has recently focused on defendant work (including acting for three Aviva corporate entities in Jabbar & Anor v Aviva Insurance UK Ltd & Anor [2022] EWHC 1383 and for the University of Warwick and Exeter Mosque in successful summary judgment applications).
