Eric (Eleftherios) Montanios is Senior Partner at Montanios & Montanios LLC; he was called to the Bar at Middle Temple (London), admitted as an advocate in Cyprus in August 1967, and co-founded the firm in 1969. He specialises in shipping and maritime law — including ship registration, ship financing, maritime litigation and enforcement of ship mortgages — has represented P&I clubs, chaired the Cyprus Bar Association Maritime Law Committee (2002–2009) and has received the Cyprus Maritime Personality Award (2015) and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Leader Award in Financial and Professional Services (2016).
