Stan Commissaris is a civil law notary and partner at Ploum in the Netherlands who specialises in corporate law, advising on finance and security transactions, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures; he also has real estate experience and works for clients in the oil sector. He graduated from the University of Leiden in 1992, joined Ploum Lodder Princen in 2001 after starting at De Brauw Blacktone Westbroek, was appointed as a civil law notary in 2003, and is a member of the firm’s Care Team and a former Chairman of the Rotterdam department of the Royal Notary Association (KNB).
