Partner at Abe, Ikubo & Katayama based in Japan, specializing in intellectual property, competition and tax law. Admitted to the Daiichi Tokyo Bar (1998) and the New York Bar (2004), he holds an LLB from Keio University (1994) and an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (2003), and has served on secondment to the Intellectual Property Policy Office of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, researched at the Max-Planck Institute (Munich), and acts as Legal Counsel to Tokyo Customs.
