Educated at Ochanomizu University and the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan, she holds an LL.M. in Banking and Finance Law (Distinction) from Queen Mary, University of London (2018) and has worked at Atsumi & Partners (Sept 2007–Jan 2011), Davis & Takahashi (Jan 2011–Jun 2015) and Anderson Mori & Tomotsune (Jun 2015–Nov 2015).
