Consultant at Skrine with a long-standing career at the firm since her call to the Malaysian Bar in January 1968; she became a partner in January 1974 (the firm's first female partner), served as Head of the Corporate Division and Senior Partner until her retirement in December 2009, and became a Consultant in January 2010. She spent the first 12 years of her career in general litigation before focusing on corporate work and has been active in Malaysian Bar committees, including serving on the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board (2010–2017).
