He has been recognized by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 and was named one of the Philippines’ Top 100 Lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal for two consecutive years; he also served as one of the youngest presidents of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (1995–1997).
