Koen works in the financial markets group and is based in our Amsterdam office. He specialises in financial markets regulation and has particular experience in relation to asset management, other investment services and crypto services. He also has experience advising on derivatives regulation and documentation. Since joining Simmons & Simmons in 2019, Koen has advised leading global financial institutions on a broad range of financial services regulations. He is also experienced in application procedures with the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and the Dutch Central Bank (DNB).
