Widely regarded as one of Denmark's leading IT lawyers, he combines solid legal skills, innovative thought leadership and strategic IT industry expertise. He has around 20 years of experience advising Danish and international organizations across the full spectrum of IT-related legal and commercial matters. He is known as a pioneer in legal aspects of online technology solutions, cyber and IT security, open source, open data, and Creative Commons. His work includes emergent areas such as 3D printing, robotics, smart networks, smart cities, wearable tech, IoT, fintech, and blockchain technologies. He also advises tech start-ups and SMEs on fundraising, M&A, transactions, corporate matters, and commercial contracts. He is a certified IT attorney and admitted to the Danish High Court. He co-authored the first thesis on Danish Internet Law and speaks frequently at conferences. He speaks Danish and English, and understands Scandinavian languages. He earned his Master of Law from the University of Copenhagen and was admitted to the Danish Bar in 1991.
