I am a senior associate in our Finance & Financial Regulation department based in Milan, with a specific focus on the energy sector. I'm specialized in financing, project financing and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deals, providing legal assistance to Italian and foreign financial institutions and companies in both cross-border and domestic transactions. My primary focus lies in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, where I support clients in navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks to achieve their strategic objectives. Over the past years, I have been actively involved in numerous landmark financing and refinancing transactions within the renewable energy and infrastructure sector, contributing to the successful realization of high-profile projects. This has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities associated with the green energy transition. Furthermore, I have gained significant experience in drafting and negotiating key energy contracts, including Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) agreements, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contracts, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), ensuring that my clients' interests are well-protected throughout the project lifecycle as well as in the project development activities of photovoltaic, wind and biomethane projects in the Italian market. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I honed my expertise working at both an Italian and an international law firms specialized in energy law. Additionally, I served as Senior Legal Counsel for M&A and Energy Transition at one of Italy's largest utility companies, further enriching my knowledge and practical experience in this dynamic sector. · Bird & Bird
